Viteyes 2 SOFTGELS contain the same combination of vitamins and minerals as Viteyes 2 CAPSULES but as in 'softgel' form which many find easier to swallow. It contains a formula in line with that recommended by pivotal eye health research.
The suggested daily intake of 2 capsules contains the formula recommended by this study.
If you prefer to take this formula with the added benefits of omega 3, order Viteyes 2 plus Omega-3 or additional ingredients such as bilberry, order Viteyes 2 Advanced.
Viteyes 2 SOFTGELS provide a high dose of vitamins C & E, zinc, copper as well as 10mg of lutein and 2mg of zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids not found naturally in the body, but synthesised from our diet and utilised by the body, especially the eye.
- Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
- Vitamin C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

As you say, there are not many treatment options yet for dry macular degeneration.
The Viteyes 2 range has shown in studies to stabilise its progression and exciting new research is about to start, repurposing an approved drug (we have a family history of AMD).You can read more here

I had a bad reaction to these tablets, and had to stop taking them. We think it is the inclusion of zinc and maybe copper. Perhaps you could advise.
Was this helpful?Viteyes UK2 weeks agoSorry to read this, indeed you may be correct - zinc in supplements can sometimes upset the stomach.
This is normally alleviated by taking with food.
I will contact you for more details to confirm this is the case and for our records.
I may suggest Viteyes 2 Zinc-Free as an alternative as this formulation is designed for this exact occurrence.
